Spring Break in Punta Cana
Spring break has been a rite of passage for college students ever since the 1960 and the film, "Where the Boys Are." In those days spring break was Florida in the east and Galveston Island, now it's Mexico and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The tourist trade is alive and well in Punta Cana, with its tropical setting and vast ability of choosing among the amenities. Most of the resorts in Punta Cana are large enough so that one rarely needs to leave the resort. Most of them are all-inclusive so just about everything that is needed for a great stay is right there.
STS Travel has been providing spring break packages for students for over 20 years, and they are a great help in helping students organize their trips. They can put together a package that will fit all schedules and accommodation requirements.
For example one package is an exclusive party package that has scheduled trips away from the resort to the downtown area where all of the best clubs are located, allowing for free cover charges and an all night open bar.
Groups can book hotels and travel together, stay together and party together. The all-inclusive arrangements of most of the resorts at Punta Cana makes the trip that much more enjoyable as students do not have to worry about fending for themselves as far as their meals are concerned.
Groups can be booked from 2 to 200 people and they can rely on STSTravel.com's experience of booking tours for students to destinations all over the world. With the history of booking over 400,000 students, sts travel know what they are doing.
One resort example is The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana resort, located on Bavaro Beach. The reviews are all excellent and the service is second to none. The beach is very spacious and accessible at all times. There is a large pool, a bar and lounge, a fitness center and workout room, a tennis court, a spa and a restaurant. Rooms come in a family style, large and spacious or in suites. Also included is free internet and high speed Wifi.
Another great spot is the Iberostar Grand Bavaro Hotel which always receives top reviews. There is plenty to do on site, with its luxurious beach-side location. You can spend time at the beach, or at the spacious pool located on-site. The fitness center and gym have ample space and facilities and the restaurant/bar/lounge facilities offer more than enough for anyone to have a good time. Suites are available as well as non-smoking rooms. There is no charge at all for room service and the butler will keep the mini-fridge stocked at all times.
There are many more hotels, of course, that are available, but the entire emphasis is geared to the tourist, and especially the student traveler when in season for spring break. This is an excellent destination where students can relax from the rigors of classes and study, and get recharged for the next semester.
